REVIEW: carmex lip balm

Hello my lovely's how are you?
Today is a review on the carmex lip balm,This is the most amazing lip-balm available on the market! It goes beyond being a cosmetic product, it's actually more of a medicine. It can heal dry, chapped lips in just a few applications and stays on for a long time. This is amazing for me as I have terrible dry lips. It does not make the lips look dry or white, and it actually gives it a light gloss/shine :)
The packaging for this product is simple but nice to me it looks abit vintage what I like :)

There's not much else I can say about this, I just really like it :) I will be sure to buy another one when i have ran out which won't be long :) I would also recommend this too.

Well thank you for reading, will be back soon with another post :)

NOTD-O.P.I nail lacquer!

Hello everyone, I hope your all well! Today's post is going to be about an O.P.I nail lacquer that I have been loving. Iv had a few of these nail polishes before but this colour is so lovely! I believe this was around 10.99 which isn't bad for a lovely O.P.I nail lacquer :)
It is the most gorgeous colour ever!! It's hard to explain to be honest but ill try my best its a battle ship grey colour with a hit of blue and green? With slight glitter? Yeah I can't explain things. But from the picture below your get what I'm on about.

Hope your all well,
Katie x

December empties

Well hello, I'm truly sorry that I haven't been doing regular blog posts for such a long time I've been so busy.
Anyway today's blog post is going to be my December empties. I love reading and watching monthly empties. So I thought I would join in and do my own :) here are just a few products I have used up in December. If you would like a more in depth review on any product do let me know in the comments.

The first product is the lee Stafford poker straight flat iron protection shine mist. This product is lovely to be honest I think all heat protecting sprays are very similar. But this one does keep your hair straight hence the name 'poker straight' it does also leaves your hair looking very shiny and soft. I'm not sure if I will be buying this again or not it is lovely but I would rather try others, But I would recommend this.

The second product is batiste dry shampoo in cherry. I always have dry shampoo it's just one of those products I just can't live without! The cherry one is nice but it isn't one of favourites as I don't like the smell that much. There's not much more I can say about dry shampoo I would buy this again, and i do recommend it too.

The third product is the Aussie miracle moist shampoo and conditioner. I adore these so so much! Firstly smell like heaven! And Secondly they leave my hair so lovely and soft. I've been using these for around 5 to 6 months now and I have fallen in love with them. In would recommend too you very highly! And I will be forever repurchasing these.

The forth product is the ted baker body scrub. This smells amazing! I'm not very good at explaining smells but this smells lovely! However I have used better scrubs than this in the past. I'm not too sure if you can buy big bottles of this or not? But I know they have the small travel sizes ones as that's what I got :) I only got this as I needed a small bottle if scrub to take away with me and this was lovely for taking away but I wouldn't use it all time. I don't think I would buy this again but I would recommend it if you wanted a travel size scrub for a holiday or something.

The fifth product is the l'oreal pairs Elnet hair spray. I must admit I do love Elnet hair spray I always have. My nan and mum has always used this so I just copied them really and fell in love. Some people say that hair sprays is hair spray it's all the same. I agree to this but however I do love this hair spray as I have found if you put this on and you want to brush some out it does without any white dusty particles appearing. I would recommend this and I will being buying this again and again like always!

The last product is the soap and glory body spray in the fragrant 'madly' this sent is described as 'A flirty floral fragrant' I do love soap and glory products not just because their lovely because of the lovely smell too! So the body sprays are right up my street! I do love these I have about five hidden away in my room ready when I run out! I have already opened my next one. I would recommend this and I will be buying more of these when I start to run out again.

So that's my first empties post I hoped you liked it, I'm sorry that mostly the products where about hair! I just realised haha.

See you in my new post!
Also I hope you had a lovely Christmas! And new year!

REVIEW: Rimmel stay matte pressed powder

Hi guys, sorry i haven't been posting for so long. I have just been really busy but hopefully now i will be posting much often! Anyway lets get on with the review.

To be honest i think this is a great powder especially for £3.99  I originally bought the powder in transparent as I'm very pale but i found it looked far too pale for me. The next time i was in town i picked up the powder in peach glow this is the perfect colour for me as it gives the skin a bit of subtle colour :) It helps minimise the appearance of pores and does deffo reduce shine from makeup or just natural shine. I have normal skin but sometimes tend to get a little oily i am always concerned about looking shiny during the day, with this, i don't have to worry!
Glides on smoothly, amazing coverage and long lasting.

Rimmel says it gives up to 5 hours natural shine control. But on my skin, it lasts up to 3 hours roughly before making my skin a bit shiny, however i usely touch up my powder through out the day. On that note the packaging isn't that good as the lid does come off very easily if you just through it in your bag like i do. My 1st last one accidentally fell on the floor when i was rushing around getting ready for a party the lid had fell off and the powder went everywhere, but I guess that was my own fault.

I have been using this for about 4-5 months, i have had 3 of these powders so far and i do love them for the money the one i am using now has a little bit of product around the edges but not much good thing i have a brand new one ready.

Have you tired this? do you love it too?

Katie Ellen, see you soon xoxo

Maybelline Eye Studio Colour Tattoo 24Hr- Review

Maybelline Eye Studio Colour Tattoo 24Hr- Review

Out of all the shades in the range 'On and on bronze'  is definitely my favourite! A rather taupe toned bronze, with a gorgeous shimmer. It makes a great eyeshadow base, but is also gorgeous on its own.  I wore this on its own all day, from 8am - 7pm, with no primer, and slight creasing appeared around 4pm. I thought it was a flattering colour on my eyes, and it looked like I had made a proper effort with my make up, when all I'd done was put this all over the eyelid, slightly above the crease and blended! Easy peasy everyday smoky eye!

I don't know whether these would last 24 hours as they claim to, I wouldn't want to try it, personally! Perhaps it is more of a tag line to impress customers? even so i am impressed!!
have you got and of them?
Thank you for reading

MUA PRO Mosaic Blusher Review - English Rose

MUA PRO Mosaic Blusher Review - English Rose

The MUA make up range launched another range called MUA pro.
The normal range is all £1 but this range starts from £2 up to £8 i must say i do love the new range.
i have been trying to get my hands on the MUA pro line blush since the new range came out.
this range only has one blush and two bronzers but I'm just in love with the colours, the name and the shimmer!!

Yesterday I received my new MUA Pro 'English Rose' mosaic blush in the post as i couldn't get my hands on one in the shops.

I think it's probably the biggest and prettiest blush that I have!
The MUA Pro range consists of 2 mosaic bronzers and 1 mosaic blush, the bronzers are just as lovely as the blush, i also do have one of the bronzers but i thought the shinning star was 'english rose'.
The mosaic bronzers and blush retail at £2.50 each and can be purchased from Superdrug.

This blush is absolutely awesome, not only is it a blush, it's also a highlighter too!

I really love the purple shade as it is different and i have nothing like it!..

I used the blush today and I have to say that I'm really impressed with it. It lasted all day and I didn't notice any fading, I had been shopping in hot sticky weather so would have imagined the blush to have faded a little but I'm pleased to tell you that it didn't fade whatsoever.

Whilst applying the blush, I also noticed that I didn't have to use much of the blush, this is probably due to great pigmentation and colour intensity.
As for the packaging, it is quite cheap looking but what do you expect for £2.50!

I'm hoping that MUA brings out more colours of the blushers as there is  only one! :(
I would rate this blusher 9/10 i am in love with it!

Have any of you tried anything from the MUA Pro range?

Thanks for reading!

REVIEW:Max Factor False Lash Effect Fusion Mascara

Hi my lovely girls!

This mascara is fantastic! It really defines, lengthens and gives your lashes so much volume; just like it promises! and doesn't give you a spider leg look,  I'm a contact lens wearer and there haven't been any issues with that either! It's really easy to apply and looks really good! On the dark side it is a bit expensive and it isn't as 'extreme' as it says, it's actually quite natural, but that's just what I wanted! Would definitely recommend!

I say, the chunky brush is pretty nice… but I imagine that for those with short lashes it could be a nightmare.  I always have difficulty trying to detect whether the bristles are indeed bristles, plastic or rubber… these feel like stumpy old-style bristles to me but I could be wrong. The formula is pretty good, I hate thin formula's that practically drip off the brush.

As you can see from the picture the brush is massive!

The aadvantages for mascara is it  looks good, defines, lengthens and volumes your lashes, packaging is fab, love the brush and natural looking. The only disadvantages are that the mascara is it is abit expensive, flakes during the day if you have an active lifestyle and very hard to remove with a make up wipe or eye make up remover.

thank you for reading, request any reviews or products for me to try!,
much love Katie  xoxo
